An Intermission
And a Request
Well, life seems to have imposed an intermission upon us.
Last week, my laptop was baptized in Hawaiian rainfall.
This week it sits in California undergoing the necessarily slow process of rebirth.
That being the case, I am at present crippled in my ability to transmit my experiences in the format we’ve grown accustomed to.
This is a painful reality to accept, as writing these articles has become the single most fulfilling moment of recurrence in my mottled life.
So, for now, I’d like to thank you.
That you’ve managed to pause at all to sit here with me is nothing short of miraculous. But for you to keep returning — to find yourself warmed and fed by the food and fire of this humble hall — well, it feels a bit like a friendship.
So, again, I thank you.
I expect I’ll see you again in two weeks time.
And now, I have a request.
It’s become clear to me that now is the moment for me to take my craft to the next level.
There are certain tales that cannot be told within the meager means of my present operation.
So, I’m seeking a bit of Bardic Patronage.
If you’d like to support my work further, and you’re interested in seeing the kind of storytelling I’m capable of when my basic needs are taken care of,
If you don’t have the means to donate, but still care to support:
a prayer, a share, and a like or a comment will do more to help than you might suppose.
I’ve been waiting all my life to have the resources to create the things I’m here to create. And the time is now.
All my love,
J
Music: Have I referred you to the music of Fabiano de Nascimento yet? Probably. It’s worth repeating. Listen to Fabiano de Nascimento. Let me know what you think.
PS, last meeting’s words “Purgatory is a Mountain” have been archived for the time being.
Certain tales, though perhaps alleged and fictitious, may be misunderstood by the wrong eyes.
Thank you for understanding.
